| Chrisse's outstanding and sustained
contribution to contemporary dance-associated arts has been significantly
acknowledged by the presentation of the Sydney Myer Performing
Arts Award, Swan Gold Award, Sounds Australia Award,
and Western Australian Citizen of the Year, she is also a
Centenary Medal recipient.
Her research into the various sciences associated with the process
of motion capture led her to spend time in the world's leading commercial
motion capture studio Medialab in Paris. She captured
45 minutes of her own choreographic material. This data was the
foundation for an animated film On The Wing
using a 3D avatar in a virtual environment.
This interest in new technologies attracted commissions to create
works using Life Forms ® choreographic software, [WAAPA@ECU]
