It’s rather like wandering in the dark through the back of a waterfall. Droplets of white numerical and alphabetic images (digital information telling where the body is in 3D space) trickle down from above, and rise like steam when they touch the floor or chimerically merge. When the ethereal, one-dimensional dancer appears, the image is reflected several times through the room, moving like white dust through a sunburst, or sliding like white polish over the floor…The question of whether this installation is dance seems to be superfluous. The wonder produced by being in the presence of something that has gone beyond the usual form is there in spades and is enhanced by being, literally, in the midst of it.
